Meet KBo

Named after a skilled river guide, KBo helps you navigate complex data with confidence. Think of KBo as your analysis partner: a built-in guide that helps you explore, understand, and act on your data through a simple, intuitive chat experience.

KBo lives directly inside the Authenticx platform and is designed to:

  • Surface meaningful insights from your conversation data

  • Suggest next best questions and actions

  • Identify emerging trends and patterns

  • Help you measure ROI and efficiency gains

How KBo Works

KBo uses a language model that can understand and respond to your questions. It can help you retrieve, analyze, and summarize data, but it relies on clear instructions to do its best work.

KBo is built to lend Authenticx context to an intuitive chat experience, giving you answers to your most pressing questions instantly. KBo analyzes data from your account only, meaning all responses are tailored to your data.

Accessing KBo

You can open KBo anytime by selecting the KBo icon in the top right corner of the platform.

Using KBo

When you launch KBo, you’ll see a few suggested questions appear automatically. These examples are a great place to start, but you can also type your own questions—we encourage you to experiment!

Ask questions about your data, from “What are the top reasons for long calls?” to “How did member sentiment change last quarter?”

Filters in KBo

KBo will respect all of your applied filters, so when you switch your context to Applied Filters, your questions will reflect exactly the group of conversations you're targeting.

Full-Screen mode

KBo now includes a full-screen mode that lets you expand your workspace for an immersive analysis experience. Toggle full-screen mode anytime to read, scroll, and navigate long answers more comfortably.

Just click the arrow icon on the left of your chat to access KBo in full screen.

Chat history

KBo automatically saves your chat history, so you can:

  • Revisit previous questions and responses

  • Pick up where you left off on a prior analysis

  • Build on earlier insights without re-running the same prompts

You’ll see your recent conversations listed when you open KBo—just click any thread to reopen it.

This makes it easier than ever to create a running thread of analysis, track progress across sessions, or collaborate with teammates reviewing the same data.

ROI visibility

KBo surfaces ROI visibility directly within your chat experience, showing an estimate of the time saved through automated analysis and insights.

This feature helps quantify KBo’s value by illustrating how much manual effort is reduced when you use KBo to explore, summarize, or investigate your data.

Tips for Writing Effective Prompts

  1. Be Specific

    1. Focus on what you want to know. Instead of asking a vague question like “what were the trends on my calls,” try narrowing it down:

      1. Example: “What are the top 5 call topics last month?”

    2. Clarify your goals upfront: Do you want a summary, trends, or detailed stats?

  2. Include Key Details

    1. Who, What, When: Providing specifics will guide responses. Include specific timeframes, topics, or particular metrics.

      1. Example: “Analyze conversations with an Eddy and an ending negative sentiment in Q3.”

  3. Break down complex requests into multiple steps

    1. Break down complex requests. KBo can handle multiple steps, but it’s often easier if you split tasks:

      1. Example: “First, how many conversations last week were over 20 minutes in duration?” Then: “What was the contact type breakdown of those conversations?”

  4. Ask Follow-up Questions

    1. If KBo's answer needs more details, ask follow-ups to refine your results:

      1. Example: “Can you break down those results by hierarchy?” or “How does this compare to last quarter?”

  5. Use Examples or Formats

    1. Tell KBo if you have certain requirements or requests for how it should format your answer.

      1. Example: “List the top 3 topics with Eddies by percentage.”

  6. Explore Insights

    1. KBo is more than just a data retriever, it can help uncover patterns and insights.

      1. Example: “What is my top trending topic this week? Analyze a sample of those conversations for insights.”

Examples of Good Prompts

  • “What percentage of calls in August 2024 were related to billing issues?”

  • “What were the trending topics for Brand X in Q2 2024?”

  • “Compare customer sentiment about product A vs. product B based on call data from July to September 2024.”
